Students may have the opportunity to participate in several different work preparation activities prior to graduation from high school.  These include attending guest speaker presentations, vocational and education at their campus.  Starting in the junior year of high school, several students have to opportunity to participate in a paid work experience through our WorkAbility 1 grant and Transition Partnership Program contract.  Although employment is not guaranteed, students that are interested in working must at least have a 2.0 GPA, great attendance and no discipline concerns.  Workers  will be selected based on availability of work exploration funds each school year.
